SqlQueryTools: Streamline Your SQL Code Integration
SqlQueryTools is a powerful Visual Studio extension designed to simplify working with SQL files in your projects. It automatically generates code-behind files for your SQL scripts, providing a seamless way to integrate queries into your codebase.
Each generated code-behind file includes:
- A static class named after the SQL file.
- A constant string, Query, containing the full content of the SQL file.
- Constants for each parameter declared in the SQL file, making your code more maintainable and less error-prone.
Before generating the code-behind file, SqlQueryTools ensures the validity of your SQL script by running a comprehensive check against a SQL Server database.
The resulting code is optimized for use with ORMs like Dapper, allowing you to execute queries efficiently while keeping your code clean and organized.
This website was originally developed using ASP.NET to serve the members of the Gezinsbond in Onkerzele. It provided a convenient overview of upcoming activities, allowing members to explore events and register their participation with ease.
Over time, the website was replaced by a platform offered by Gezinsbond National. Although no longer active, you can still catch a glimpse of its original design and features through the Wayback Machine.
iFun was founded in 1999 by Gert Marginet and Wendy Herssens, two school friends who shared a vision: to bring the Aalst Carnival experience live to the internet. Gert brought expertise in web technologies, while Wendy contributed her extensive knowledge of video production. Together, they formed a strong team dedicated to creating a professional and engaging online platform.
In its first year, the website was modest, featuring a single page where viewers could see a new photo every minute. By the second year, iFun had improved significantly, offering a more seamless user experience.
The year 2002 marked a turning point for iFun's success. With the support of a new internet provider, up to 500 users could simultaneously view our content. That same year, we achieved a historic milestone by live-streaming the iconic "burning of the doll" ceremony—an unforgettable first in the history of the Aalst Carnival!
Although the original website is no longer active, you can still catch a glimpse of it through the Wayback Machine.
